Live Marketing Chat Guidelines - Code of Conduct
Although we would prefer to not have any rules for our chat room, the occasional appearances of the class clowns have demonstrated why a few rules are always necessary.
Banning Offenses
- No full- or partial-nudity... While we don't care how you dress, don't appear on camera without your shirt... This is a one-strike, banning offense... This also applies to inserting links into the text chat that have pictures with full- or partial-nudity...
- If you record the chat for personal use, do not distribute any recording to any third-parties, without first obtaining written permission from the owner of this website and all parties shown in the video, audio or text segment...
- Do not start fights with moderators, in either the text or audio chat... All moderators are enforcing rules as defined and instructed by the owner of this community... If you have a problem with any moderator, then you have a problem with the owner of this website, and all disputes with moderators must be discussed off-channel, with the owner of this community -- Bill Platt! No exceptions!!
Guidelines - Do No Evil
- Always use your real first name and last name in the chat rooms... Nicknames will only be allowed, if they are preceded by a real name (for those who are well-known by a specific nickname in other websites)...
- Please remember that you are in an environment with professional people who might want to do business with you in the future...
- Keep in mind that many of our regular members work from home and may have children in their offices at various times of the day and night... So please temper your language accordingly...
(We meet on weekends, when people are usually at home relaxing... Be forewarned: "Colorful Language" will sometimes enter the discourse... The moderators work to temper the language in the chat room during the early evening hours, but we do not over-enforce this guideline...)
- We are not operating a da+ing cha+ room... If you want to pick up women, do it somewhere else...
- Keep your personal business out of public chat... If you have a problem with someone in the chat room, take your conflict resolution or sniping to another channel of communication...
- Don't start fights with other members, in either the text or audio chat...
- Do not copy private conversations to the chat...
- If you have a problem with another online community, please avoid critique of that community in our Live Marketing Chat...
- Don't pick fights with our moderators -- see Banning Offense #3 above...
- Don't bully or belittle any person in our chat rooms...
- Be kind to and considerate of others...
- Don't try to dominate the Audio-Video chat... While I am sure you do have something important to say, other people may have something equally valuable to contribute to the conversation as well...
- While on camera, watch the text chat to see if people have questions or comments about what you are talking about... But try to not let the text chat completely distract you...
- Don't key the camera or microphone, unless you have something audible and useful to contribute to the group...
- Don't sing, karaoke or eat on camera...
- If you are asked to turn down the volume on your microphone, please comply immediately... Otherwise, you will be stopped from speaking...
- Don't flood the text chat with a barrage of text messages...
